Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners

FLANP is a pro-active group of Nurse Practitioners and health care advocates who are working to improve access to health care for Florida's citizens.

March 11th, 2020 was a historic day for every Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Florida!!  House Bill 607 was signed into law by Governor DeSantis.

Unfortunately, much has changed since then and FLANP is working to answer the many questions coming in, not only about independent practice requirements but also regarding the Coronavirus.  Please visit our new pages, Coronavirus and Independent Practice Q&A, for more information.  Make sure to look at how you can help during this pandemic.

Just like during the legislative session, we need your help!  We are continuing to work with Representative Cary Pigman and the Floridians Unite for Health Care Coalition to advocate for removal of supervisory protocols for this crisis temporarily.  We need everyone to take action and work together so that we are heard and so we can help!!  Check out our Coronavirus page to see how!

TOGETHER WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS!
