The American Association of Nurse Practitioners is the national organization working for nurse practitioners at the federal level. While AANP does not directly organize state efforts to remove practice barriers, they do assist the states in these efforts. AANP works in Washington DC to change Federal laws prevent access to NP care.

We encourage all Florida NPs to join both FLANP and AANP http://www.aanp.org

American College of Nurse Practitioners and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners merged January 1, 2013 to become the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

FLANP is proud to have been the state affiliate award winner of 2012 for ACNP.
FLANP is a group member of AANP.
